South Australian based singer/songwriter John is described as a storyteller and a natural performer, his music, “definitively Australian, sitting somewhere between traditional Australian country and folk. He has eight excellent albums to his credit and has won a number of awards, including APRA South Australian Country Song of the Year twice, Gidgee Coal Bush Ballad Awards, Stan Coster Memorial Bush Ballad Awards and People’s Choice Awards for The Saddle in 2009 (recorded by Matt Manning) and Best Bush Ballad in 2020 with A Drover’s Friend. John tours and performs widely throughout Australia.
